“Liberty Theatre” was founded in 31 march of 2001 year. The founder and art director of this theatre is a famous Georgian director Avtandil Varsimashvili. The theatre building has a form of sailing ship which represents the symbol of liberty. From the very first plays (“Comedians”, “The Generation Of Jeans”) theatre declared that it is a political theatre and it’s plays are about human liberties.  From the day of founding theatre represented it’s performances and received the highest estimations on such festivals as:
